A Little About Us
My husband and I fell in love with the corgi breed after we purchased our first one. We knew right away we wanted to share this adorable breed with others. We are a small time hobby breeder just getting started. We will never own more than five dogs at a time because our dogs will be with us for their entire life not just during their breeding age. We make a life time commitment to our dogs so we will never be a big operation. Due to this there may be a waiting list to adopt one of our puppies since we only plan to have two litters a year. Our main goal is to produce happy & healthy puppies for people to enjoy as pets. We take pride in the fact that all of our dogs are healthy, social and have good temperaments. They are raised in our home and are truly treated part of our family. They not only have uncontrolled access to our house but also to our fenced in yard through out the day. You can follow our business page on Facebook - Double G Corgi's to see all the shenanigan's they seem to get themselves into.

Health & Knowledge MatterWe have all of our SIRES and DAMS health and DNA tested through Embark. Embark tests them for all the diseases that tend to effect their breeds. Upon request we will also provide our vets information to give you peace of mind that our dogs are indeed healthy and visit the vet regularly for wellness checks and vaccines. We are always looking for ways to continue our education in breeding to ensure that we are producing quality puppies who thrive and live long healthy lives. Our dogs mean the world to us so their health and safety are always our top priority.

All About Corgi's !
Corgi's are quickly becoming a worldwide beloved breed of dog and for good reason. They are loyal, friendly, smart and come with so much personality packed in their short little bodies. Plus who can say no to those adorable stubby legs and their fluffy wiggly butts ! With all that good there does come a little bad so please note that corgis do tend to bark, shed, and be known to herd. They are also known to be very stubborn. They are not always the easy going couch potato the internet makes them out to be. In our experience its best for a corgi to have a fur friend to help burn excess energy to keep them out of trouble. Please take the time to do your research to make sure the corgi breed is the right fit for your family and your ready for the 10-15+ year commitment before adopting one.
There are two distinct breeds of corgis recognized by the AKC the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Cardigan Welsh Corgi. Pembroke corgi's tend to have their tails docked at birth but some are naturally born without one and come packed with personality from day one. Cardigan Welsh Corgis tend to be a little more laid back and typically keep their tails and have slightly bigger ears. They also have more coloring options with Merle and Brindle being the top two. Double G Corgi's prides in offering several mixed breed Corgi's. We believe mixed corgi's are just as wonderful as the purebred versions. We understand there are some out there who do not like mixed breeds of animals and that is fine everyone is entitled to their own opinions and beliefs. We want to offer several versions to hopefully have something to offer for everyone. We are not trying to pass off our dogs off as anything they are not. They are just wonderful pets/ companions who will bring tremendous love and laughter into your home. We will produce American Corgi's and Auggie's as well as offer full Pembroke puppies. We are still growing our breeding program. |
